Happy Happy Joy Joy

I'm having a good week:

- I'm a regional finalist in the NewSong Mountain Stage competition, meaning I can win some prizes and excellent exposure (you can help by voting for me)

- Farm Fresh Radio (102.9 FM), an awesome VT radio station has been giving my music a lot of airplay.  Thanks for all the "I just heard your music on the radio" alerts, Vermonters!   I just left a "thanks for listening" message at the station - they ask that each message start with a farm animal sound.  As a result, my remaining garble is probably impossible to understand because I was laughing at myself.  (quack)

- I'm still in Idaho and have avoided the hottest summer on record in NYC - hallelujah.  And I'm opening for Sarah Sample at Redfish Lake - an excellent place to play and it will be aired on NPR.

- Found a great pair of cowboy boots at a thrift store for $18 - could this week get any better? (knock on wood)
